Welcome

Alan was raised on humor. His father, Louis, loved comedy, had an extensive collection of comedy recordings, and always entertained friends, family, and coworkers by telling jokes whenever the opportunity presented itself. He shared this love of humor with Alan.
There is much in life we can laugh about if we learn to see the humor in life, to see the world through a lens of humor. Alan explains this and other principles to help people enjoy life in his free booklet, Lessons My Father Taught Me.
The power of humor is not just for adults. It plays an essential role for children. Being able to laugh at day-to-day events is important. Most importantly, children (and adults) must understand that making mistakes is OK. Making mistakes is an essential tool for learning. Laugh and learn from your mistakes.
Sophie's World is a story about a girl who learns about the power and joy of laughter. I used ChatGPT (AI) to create this story. Click here to read the story.
Alan is available to speak in person to audiences in Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island. Virtual presentations are available.

MusicalConversations
Everyone has a favorite song, singer, or band. When I hear a song by the Beach Boys, I think about my senior year in high school. The Beatles and John Lennon's granny glasses remind me of when I thought I was hip. I'm sure songs evoke many of your memories.
MusicalConversations lets you relive your memories. And you will also learn fun facts about popular songs.
